On August 21, 2018 Liz Fong-Jones will join us at our Brooklyn office to speak about service-level objectives and error budgets.

The talk will also be live-streamed at 7pm Eastern.

Adopting SRE and Error Budgets

Service level objectives and error budgets are the cornerstone of site reliability engineering and a critical tool for organizations to find an appropriate balance between reliability and rates of feature development. This talk is an introduction to bringing SRE practices into your organization -- who to hire, how to organize, what projects to work on, how to measure reliability, how to assess reliability risks, and how to make longer-term changes to development priorities if your error budget is overspent or underspent.
